About Me

I have been an educator for the past 23 years. I have my Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counseling. I am a Board Certified teacher with an emphasis on “Generalist - Middle Childhood.” My approach to teaching is to focus on the Whole Child, where I am meeting the student’s need academically, emotionally and psychologically. I enjoy learning with and from my students. I am passionate about ensuring that my student are joyful learners, feel that there is a high level of emotional support and have a “Growth Mindset” that ensures they are confident learners.

I really enjoy reading, walking and sometimes cooking especially with a nice cup of coffee. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.
